to discover Colour, Line and Theme through small practical tasks under the theme of Post 1960’s Art (Ireland and the greater world)

3D Letter Construction

Aim of Unit of Learning - 

to explore Shape, Form and Colour through Typography and 3D construction under the theme of Masters of the Art World

Learning Outcomes - 

  • demonstrate methods of representing design solutions through sketching and orthographic drawing

  • apply the creative process to solve a problem

  • listen to and apply feedback to refine an idea

  • collaborate with others to complete tasks

Aim of Unit of Learning - 

to discover Line, Shape and Colour through Lino Print under the theme A Walk in My Shoes

Learning Outcomes - 

Research strand -

1.1 - analyse their work, or that of another, using appropriate vocabulary and knowledge


Respond strand - 
   2.13 - identify the role of media in the development of craftwork

   3.10 - explain the use of art elements and design principles in examples of design work

Impressionism

Aim of Unit of Learning - 

to facilitate learners researching and exploring skills while using paint, through the theme of  “Impressionism” with the focus on Value, Colour, Balance and Composition.
