School Placement 1 - Our Lady's College, Greenhills, Drogheda
My overall reflection on my 3rd Yr School Placement in Our Lady’s College Drogheda was a very good and exciting experience.
My host teachers were brilliant and helped me along the way through everything. My biggest of thanks to them.
After this Placement I believe that the area where I would like to improve on would be to work on Time Management. I found that I would either over or underestimate who long it would to take students to do an activity.
Overall , my 3rd Year school placement has been great experience. I have made many new memories and I have I feel that I have learned and gained many new skills.

School Placement 2 - Scoil Uí Mhuirí, Dunleer
My overall reflection on my 4th Year School Placement in Scoil Uí Mhuirí, Dunleer was a new and different experience. Having completed my first school placement in an all girls school, changing into a mixed gendered school was new and fun.
I would like to give thanks to my host teachers that helped me along the way to complete my 4th year school placement. They were always there to give advice on lessons and teaching strategies.
After this Placement I believe that the area where I would like to improve on would be to work on is to have more confidence when teaching. Make sure I use a strong clear voice when instructing the students.
Overall , my 4th Year school placement has been wonderful experience. I have made many new memories and that I am always still learning.

Unfortunately, because of Covid-19, my group was not able to complete our SEN Teaching school placement.
We were given the opportunity to work on the planning and a potential Unit of learning.
For our lesson we decided to create a final collection of puzzle pieces with different techniques to represent the service users' own self. My main role in the team was making visual aids, setting up zoom calls and organising the drive.
How did you do it?
With the use of a range of different techniques like painting, collage and mixed media.
Why did you do it that way?
To give the service users the range of expression and to allow them to decide what they want on their final puzzle piece.
